Jacob Atkinson

Jacob Atkinson was a Philadelphia letter carrier with only two known works. Choosing to depict mail and money, this kind of tromp l'oeil still life subject was popular with artists working in and around Philadelphia, most notably William Harnett and John Peto. AtkinsonāsĀ Souvenir of the Columbian Exposition, resides at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
