| Biography: |
Rebekah Evans Roberts was born in New Jersey, the daughter of active members of the Religious Society of Friends. She was the second woman to be admitted to the Bar Association in Philadelphia. In 1892 Roberts married her art teacher, Milne Ramsey; she was the artist’s second wife. Her paintings have been exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts between 1887 and 1890.
