Nationality: American
Biography: Helen Young was born in South Otselic, New York, and lived in Mount Vernon. Active during the 1920s and 1930s, she was a member of the New York Society of Women Artists and the Woodstock Art Association, and exhibited with the Society of Independent Artists, the National Association of Women Artists, the Salons of America, and the Art Institute of Chicago. One source states that works by her are in the city hall of Dinan, a town in Brittany, France. Her work shows the influence of such French Modernists as Paul CÚzanne (1839–1906) and Robert Delaunay (1885–1941)
