Nationality: Belgian
Biography: Born in Ypres, Belgium, Francois-Antoine Bossuet studied art at the Brussels Academy. He specialized in painting picturesque urban views of major European cities that are characterized by accurate perspective renderings of landmark buildings. Bossuet traveled throughout Holland, Germany, France, Spain, and North Africa. He died in Brussels.
